Boscia Konjac Cleansing Cloth

You know how you keep keep trying different versions of the same product, hoping one brand or iteration might be the one you'll love??!! For some reason, I'm slightly obsessed with finding a konjac sponge I'll love and I keep trying different ones thinking one will stick. Ok, maybe it's just me?!! Ha ha! Anyway...here we have it...the latest round of konjac sponge testing...this time with the Boscia Konjac Cleansing CLOTH. Yep...a cloth!! See how it reeled me in?!

Boscia Konjac Cleansing Cloth, $15

My main beef with the Konjac sponges I've tried is that they don't dry out overnight, nor do they dry out in 24 hours even though most of them claim to dry out in less than 24 hours. In fact, every single konjac sponge I've tried takes DAYS to dry out.

I'll say up front that I really enjoy cleansing with a konjac sponge...feels really gentle but effective and I love that they can be used on my eye area! But the fact that they don't dry out overnight does not make them good travel companions...hence, my search...and why I thought a thin cloth might solve my problem!

Well this does indeed dry out overnight - great, right?!!! Buuuuut, when it dries it dries in a stiff shape and can break. At least it's still usable, right??? Not really. Konjac is a little slippery when wet (EDIT: & even worse if you add cleanser!), and since there are no corners or real shape to grip it's difficult to hold onto while washing my face - as opposed to a sponge that you can grasp your fingers around, plus there's usually a looped string you can hold onto as well.

Oh, and this does NOT expand to 4x it's dry size despite the claim in the box. I'm not sure it even expands to twice the size??

This is getting returned.
