***Formally the Gummy Vision blog***

I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

Return To Sender VI

It's been awhile since my last Return to Sender post, which I guess means I've been loving a lot of product and sometimes not bought much!! Here are the items that have missed the mark, and are getting returned...

***All items purchased by me.

Omorovicza Mineral UV Shield SPF 30 - This claims to be hydrating, but it actually dried out my skin quite badly. I tried with and without moisturizer underneath and experienced the same result. It was so bad on my neck that a huge, wide patch of dry skin formed that ended up turning into scaly hard skin. Ugh. The first time I tried this it took a little over a week to get back to normal...the second time - well it's been well over 2 weeks and my neck still feels dry (my face was back to normal after about a week). What I did like about this is that it blurred my pores and redness, and wore well under makeup. But at this price point ($125) it needs to be perfect all around!!

Diorsnow Brightening Illuminating UV Protection, Translucent SPF 50 - This did NOT sink in. After several hours it still looked shiny and felt tacky. Thicker and felt slightly heavy. Couldn't get past all this to test under makeup, but I imagine it wouldn't wear well given it doesn't sink in.

Armani Fluid Sheer #9 - Didn't care for the color (looked ruddy on my cheeks), though it does have a beautiful finish and looks naturally glowy.

Dior Cheek & Lip Glow - Barely left a noticeable tint on my cheeks, and that was after layering it. On my lips it didn't look like I applied anything at all.

Sun Bum Scented Lip Balm SPF 30 in Pomegranate - Loved that this had a high SPF for my lips! Unfortunately, this felt like a semi-waxy Vaseline that had zero lasting power.

Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm - Felt like a beautifully hydrating balm/cream going on, but it oxidized immediately into a darker color with an orange tint. Slightly darker I wouldn't have minded, but the orange was a no go.

Deborah Lippmann in You've Got A Friend - I thought this was going to have more lilac than it does. It's more beige than I wanted and is too close to another color I already have.

Not pictured, Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Eyeshadow in Rosewood - Read why I'm returning, HERE

Some of these I didn't show in any New In posts because I knew right away I wasn't going to keep them. But 4 of them have been mentioned, and will be the start of a Return total that I'll be keeping throughout the year. At the end of the year I'll compare my New In totals with the Return total!

Return total for the year: 4

Have you returned anything lately??
