Mini Review: NUDE Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash

As mentioned HERE, I purchased this because I was in the market for a cleanser (nearly finished with all the cleansers from my Skincare Cleanout) and thought this sounded really interesting!! My mistake was not realizing this is actually a treatment, meant to be used up to 3x/week and not a daily cleanser. Whoops!!

NUDE Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash, $42/2oz @ Sephora

Off the bat, I like this the most out of the powder cleanser/exfoliators I have tried!! Unless you have really sensitive skin, I feel like you could use this more than the 3x/week because it's not super grainy. You can 'feel' it more than the Tatcha (I've tried the Classic, Gentle & Deep) and Amore Pacific Ones, but some of that is due to the fizziness.

And yes this does fizz!!! Remember Pop Rocks? It's kind of like that, but less intense. Sounds like it would be an odd sensation on your face, but I kinda love it ha ha!! This also does have a fragrance...kind of a muted fruity/vanilla smell?? Very faint, but I like it so it doesn't bother me.

This also manages to gently exfoliate, keeps my skin soft and also seems to add a hint of moisture. Not enough to replace a moisturizer by any means, but I don't feel like I have to immediately moisturize! And the times I do use it, I've been using it as a second cleanse after removing makeup and it works really well that way.

The only thing I haven't noticed is much brightening. My skin looks & feels more fresh, but I think I may need more time to see any real brightening effects.

This is a really fun product, and I'm very happy to have it in my stash! Check out the video below to lean a little more about it :-)
