Favorites: November 2015 - gummyvision.com

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb - A mentioned, HERE, this has quickly become a favorite and I've been using it daily since receiving a deluxe sample of it with a Sephora promo code. It's deeply moisturizing while still feeling lightweight, and absorbs quickly even over face oil. The best part...it seems to have relieved me from the bit of dehydration/dryness I was experiencing and I no longer feel I need a moisturizing toner as mentioned in THIS post!! Appu has a great review HERE

Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom - Instant love and I did buy the full size! Something about is so warming and I can't stop sniffing it - such a wonderful Fall/Winter scent! The sample pictured above it actually the second one - the first sample I've already used up. Divya mentions HERE that it was instant love for her as well!

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Ash - I'm very late to the train on this one, because I was previously so enamored with my Kevyn Aucoin Brow pencil. But I saw a picture of myself and realized the KA pencil was actually too warm for my brows. How did I go so long without realizing that????!!! And why did no one tell meeeeeeee????!!!!! Anyway! That led to the Benefit Gimme Brow in Med/Deep, which then led to ordering the Hourglass Arch Brow. I was already loving the Gimme Brow, both for the color and the ease of use while still looking natural. But the Arch Brow I'm loving as well because it's just so quick and with the skinny, more pointy end I can fill in tiny spots that are more difficult to fill in with the Gimme Brow. All that to say that I've actually been using the Arch Brow more than Gimme Brow for the month of November, which will probably continue. The combo of both has definitely made my brow life easier, but the Arch Brow can cover all my brow bases.

Guerlain Meteorites Compact in 03, Medium - Reviewed HERE. This has been sitting in my blog sale/purge pile for awhile, but after watching Raeview's video, HERE (should start at 2:20), I decided to give it another try. I know it doesn't work for me as a setting powder (even with a light application it can look a touch frosty), but thought I could give it a go as a true finishing powder. And guess what - I LOVE it. Seriously. Over any number of other powders I use (Chanel Les Beiges, Guerlain Wulong, Dior Diorskin Nude Air Healthy Glow Invisible Powder, Armani Luminous Silk Powder, Kevyn Aucoin Diaphanous) it gives the most beautiful and radiant, luminous glow. I am careful to use the faintest of applications, but it really helps amp up the glow factor to something that's still believable and not over the top. I'm SO glad to have rediscovered this!!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette - LOL because you knew it had to happen! These damn HG powders have found an opportunity to weasel their way into yet another post. This is another item that was sitting in the purge pile, but I resurrected it (AGAIN) because...well...just because!! But I've been using Dim Light from this palette as a neutral blush/slight bronzer. And with the middle highlight shade, it helps get me out the door quickly. I took this closeup pic to show you just how much I've been using it - notice the small dips in comparison to the relatively untouched shade at the back?!!! Even the highlight shade has a slight dip!!

What have been your favorites this month???

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!! xo
