I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

This Works: Deep Sleep Shower Gel and Deep Sleep Night Oil

I reviewed This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray HERE. I love it so much (I'm on a second bottle!) that I decided to dig my heels into the rest of the Deep Sleep range of products.

By nature of these being completely different products from the Pillow Spray, they don't smell exactly like the spray but they do smell very close…and I still love the smell of both! The Shower Gel has a little bit stronger of a scent than the Night Oil.

The Shower Gel has a normal gel consistency that is free of sulfates, alcohol, artificial fragrances and colors. This is in the middle of the scale in terms of hydration - not at all drying and super moisturizing. I feel clean, yet not stripped. Though the scent doesn't linger enough to lull me to sleep on its own, but it's a nice start to a bedtime ritual.

My one gripe of the Shower Gel, and the one that will keep me from repurchasing is that it takes a lot of product to feel as though I have enough to wash my entire body. One pump of this is not nearly enough to clean even 1/2 of me! I ended up decanting into a container where I could squeeze the right amount…otherwise it was ridiculous how many times I'd have to pump the bottle. So while 8 oz might seem like a good amount of product, I have to use so much of it I've gone through it much too quickly.

The Night Oil is light and sinks in fairly quickly. It keeps my skin soft and moisturized, but it's not nearly 24 hours of hydration…by morning I can feel it starting to wear off. Like all body oils, I apply this right in the showering while I'm still wet - I don't towel off at all. This really helps lock in more moisture and also makes the oil easier to spread. The scent on this lingers longer than the Shower Gel. Overall this is a really nice oil, but I do wish it would keep my skin moisturized a lot longer. While I really like how it smells, I don't think it will be a repurchase because of the moisture issue.
