Jun 28 Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream SPF40PA+++

Going through this series of laser treatments to get rid of sun damage has made me realize that I need to be more vigilant about avoiding the sun (at least by wearing hats as often as possible & seeking shade), and by being more vigilant about sunscreen use. This includes wearing sunscreen on areas I rarely think about - ears (yes, I've even started doing this ha ha!), hands, and arms and legs when they aren't covered by clothing.

I've tried a few hand creams with sunscreen, but to date I haven't cared enough for any of them to repurchase or to buy the full size. Until now that is!!!

You guys know how much I love the L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - it's been in Empties post after Empties post, and I've got tubes of it stashed everywhere!! BUUUUUUT...I think I like this one even more, which I wasn't sure would ever happen much less with one that had an SPF!

The Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream is rich and creamy with a bit of a runny consistency. After application, my hands look fresh and feel wonderfully hydrated. I mean, this stuff provides some serious moisture that is so SO soothing and I keep looking forward to using it!! I also love that it has a higher SPF of 40 (and has broad spectrum protection), which is difficult to find in this rich of a hand cream.

This is a tad greasy, but nothing that a quick wipe on a towel won't fix. I don't mind though because I find the soothing moisture is absolutely worth it! This Supergoop! also contains other ingredients to help battle aging:

Sea buckthorn fruit - helps lighten dark spots
Argan & meadowfoam - hydrate & help with skin elasticity

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream SPF40PA+++. I've even purchased a second tube to keep in my travel toiletry bag!
