Face Mists: Omorovicza, Medicell & Herbivore

Face Mists: Omorovicza, Medicell & Herbivore

I use face mists pretty much everyday when I'm working. I love the extra boost of hydration in the dry plane air, and they help bring back the luminosity when I've powdered throughout the day. I've got 3 going at the moment: the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist, Medicell Hydrating Calming Facial Mist and Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist.

Face Mists: Omorovicza, Medicell & Herbivore

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist, $90/3.4oz, but this is a deluxe sample - Least refreshing and least hydrating of the bunch. The spray is very fine and very even, but it's actually too fine - I have to spray a good 10 times before I feel like it's doing anything...and I have to spray even more than that to get a good kick of moisture (maybe the regular size has a better sprayer?). That said, I think the packaging is gorgeous and is my favorite of the bunch. I love the hefty, frosted glass bottle! I think I had a mini sample of this before and wasn't too impressed with it back then either. I won't be purchasing the full size.

Medicell Hydrating Calming Facial Mist, $13.95/1oz - This and the Herbivore run pretty close for immediate and long lasting hydration, but I think the Herbivore beats this by just a little bit. I do love the smaller spray bottle though - very handy to keep in a purse or makeup bag. The packaging isn't my favorite, but at least it's simple and clean. It also has the best spray nozzle out of the three. The spray covers a wide enough area so I can cover my whole face and neck with 4-5 pumps, and the stream is just perfect (not too fine, but not to big either). I would consider buying this (I received this as a GWP) simply because of extremely portable size.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist, $16/2oz & $32/4oz (this is the 4oz size) - This is probably my favorite facial mist to date! I love the packaging that is simple, clean yet still slightly feminine. The glass bottle is an unexpected and welcome touch! Especially at this price point they could've easily gone with clear plastic, but the glass amps things up that much more. This is the most hydrating out of the three mists, though I notice it the most when I apply it on bare skin before I apply moisturizer & face oil. My one tiny complaint is the spray - it's a little too focused and not fine enough so I have to hold it really far from my face or else my face ends up getting blasted and actually wet vs. merely spritzed (unless I have a faulty nozzle??). I definitely would buy this again, but would get the smaller 2oz size so it's a little more portable!

Have you tried any of these face mists? What did you think?
