Originally I meant this to be just a quarterly Empties post, to encompass July-September. Buuuuuut...came to realize the last Empties I posted about was for April! So this post covers May-September, and going forward I'll keep it to just quarters. Hopefully!! Ha ha!! 

I'll try to be as brief as possible and just highlight some things, and then get to the number totals at the end :-)  Oh, and none of the pictures or notes include May's Empties - I took pics and meant to do a post, but threw the actual Empties away before I got around to it.

These 2 Empties are the ones I'm most excited about!!

I FINALLY finished a fragrance, the LE Jo Malone Redcurrent & Cream and am now working on my backup bottle. I actually had 2 backup bottles, but ended up selling one of them because it was taking me so long to finish the original. And my lone makeup item I finished, the Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Brow Pencil in Brunette took over a year to finish. I love it so much though that I decided to buy another one to replace it instead of trying something new. 

Skincare and Misc Empties

Most of these I've repurchased because they are favorites or are staples and don't need particular mentioning. Out of this lot the only things I didn't repurchase were: Sephora Ginseng Eye Mask, Elizabeth Dehn Vitamin D Moisture Mist (this was my 2nd bottle & decided to finish other sprays I have on hand), Rodial Dragon's Blood Eye Masks, Skin Inc Ceramide Serum (this was my 2nd bottle and decided to try some other things), NUDE Skincare Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly (really enjoyed this but decided to save $ and just stick to my DIY Cleansing Oil), WEI Dragon's Blood eye Mask, Rene Rouleau Anti-Cyst Treatment (found other things that work better), Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream (been using this for many, many years but finally found a new HG with the Sisley Eye and Lip Contour Cream). 

Hair and Body Empties

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and the Klorane Dry Shampoo are staples. The Rahua, Living Proof No Frizz and Beauty Protector shampoos and conditioners were all really nice. However, I decided to try some new ones and in the process have found I love the Serge Normant Meta Silk/Velour line better than all of them!! I was having some skin irritations and decided to go back to an old favorite, the Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash, but WHY DID THEY ADD FRAGRANCE TO THIS THING??? I'm not digging the fragrance, but unfortunately forgot I had it on auto-deliver on Amazon and have 2 more big bottles like this to get through :-( 

Samples I actually finished

As mentioned above, The Serge Normant Meta Silk Shampoo and Meta Velour Conditioner are my new favorites and I did buy the full size bottles. Unfortunately, I kinda loved the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask - my skin felt so soft, soothed, plumped and fresh after using it. I'd love to purchase the full size, but it's really pricey so it probably won't be anytime soon. Maybe Sisley will show up on Gilt again. PLEASE. And the Amore Pacific Intensive Vitalizing Eye Essence is a new HG. 

Samples I didn't like, but didn't finish & will get tossed  or given away.

Was really bummed about the Sunday Riley Artemis. I squirreled away 3 sample vials and was so excited to finally getting around to  trying the product out. My skin looked amazing after the first night, but after the second night I developed red irritation bumps. The little sample pots (along bottom of the pic) I'll actually keep, and will clean out to reuse for travel. 

Items getting tossed

These were either old and not usable anymore, or in the case of the Dior polish...somehow the brush got messed up and now it applies really funky. 

Other items of note...

I went through all my sample fragrances and managed to purge 44 of them!!! Now I only have a few left and I'm pretty darn excited about that!!! ***EDIT: forgot to add I went through the rest of my samples and purged a lot of those as well!!!

For the totals, I did take out the 'Purged, full size' category. With all the back and forth I didn't keep track and have no idea at this point! I did add in the 'Toss, full size' category since there were some items that need to go to the trash bin for various reasons.
