New In: April 2015
I had good intentions to not buy much for April, but then the Sephora sale hit...and a few other random 'needs' popped up!
***All items purchased by me. Links are to previous blog posts.
Items with a "+" were purchased during the Sephora sale.
+ Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden and Minor Sin - For some reason I'm having shadow primer problems again. First it was NARS that stopped working and now the Smashbox one I was loving isn't working. Not sure what's going on?? Urban Decay reformulated and repackaged their Primer Potions so I thought I would give them a try. They are getting returned.
+ Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in G30 - These have been allover the place lately, and I love the idea of customizing/adding tint or additional coverage to products! Have had trouble finding the right color (I actually returned a different color already) and I think this one might be a tad too light? Was going to order G40, but it was OOS until after the sale. Of course. Haven't tested them out yet except to check for color.
+ Laura Mercier Paint Wash in Coral Reef - Love the Rosewood color and formula and wanted another one. This is a great color so far, but it's hard getting an even application so I'm not sure if I'm keeping this one.
Clinique Cheek Pops in Pink Pop, Heather Pop and Pansy Pop - Wasn't too interested in the original colors when these first came out, but loved how the new colors looked and REALLY REALLY wanted to try them out. Loving them so far! Bought them before the sale because I didn't know if I'd be able to catch them on sale before they went OOS, plus it was one of those times when I wanted them yesterday!
Viseart Neutral Matte Palette - Because I absolutely neeeeeeed more shadows in my life!!! Ok, not at all! But, this palette had been OOS forever on the Sephora site and as soon as I received the email it was back I bought it right away. So far it's absolutely living up to the hype!!
Bobbi Brown Rubis Slanted Tweezers - I've had several of these, and hands down they are the most precise tweezers I've used. Pricey, but definitely worth it. They stay sharp, but lose their 'grip' after so many years so it was time to replace.
Bioderma Photoderm Max SPF50+ Milk - I'm on out of my Vichy sunscreen. It's no longer available on Amazon anymore, so I'm having to scramble to find something else. This one just arrived today and haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Defense SPF50+ - Was hoping this would be a good Vichy replacement, but so far I'm not loving it. Will update in a sunscreen post later!
+ SkinInc Ceramide Serum - Am almost done with my first bottle and liked it enough to get another during the sale! It goes quickly, so I'm trying to use it sparingly.
Kiel's First Class Purifying Hand Treatment - Found it in the New Arrivals section on Nordstrom, and thought it looked interesting...supposed to be a more natural way to keep hands clean and lightly moisturized.
Sachajuan Hair Repair - Review HERE.
+ Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover - Love this stuff and am almost done with another bottle.
Not pictured:
Professional Solutions Vitamin B,C,E & Ferulic Serum (2 bought as replenishment - review HERE), Professional Solutions Alpha Arbutin Skin Whitening Serum, Professional Solutions 100% Pure Titanium Dioxide.
EDIT: Whooooops!! Forgot about the + Surratt blush in La Vie En Rose that magically came back in stock during the Sephora sale so I got that too! Adjusted numbers reflected below :-)
