Sephora Sale Haul + Holiday Giveaway Winners
What better way to come back from a mini break than to show you what I bought from the Sephora sale?!!!
Show Beauty Premiere Working Texture Spray - My hair is coarse and heavy, so it's been challenging finding a texture spray that works. This one has volcanic ash and really caught my attention.
Living Proof Flex Hold Shaping Spray - Staple item.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo - I'm nearly finished with my beloved Klorane, and thought it would be a great time to try this much raved about product. High hopes, but we'll see!
Brigeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizer - Been using a deluxe sample of this and have really been loving it. I spray it on my roots before letting my hair air dry. I find it does help a teeny bit with volume, but more importantly it somehow helps keep my hair cleaner, longer.
The Blend No. 10 Citrus by Fred Segal - Have had this on my list since I first spotted them on Sephora. This is a rollerball fragrance oil that is meant to be used alone or layered with the rest of the scents in the line or with your current fragrances. Though I wish it had a touch more tartness, I still quite love it.
Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover - Staple item.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - Staple item.
Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder, travel size - Wanted a mini powder to keep in the makeup case in my handbag.
Belief The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb - This is definitely replacing my previous moisturizer staple, the Glycolix Elite Fortified Cream. And since I've already gone through a deluxe sample and am working quite quickly through the first full size I purchased (this is the second) I think it's fair to say this is more than likely going to be a skincare favorite for 2015! It's very moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy, and has been just what I've been looking for.
Peter Thomas Roth Professional Strength 40% Triple Acid Peel - This is the smaller size with only 2 applications. I've had my eye on this for a bit, and the triple acids really caught my attention. I've tried it once already. My skin looked a bit brighter, but no other significant changes to report. Even after the second application I'm not sure I'll see much of a difference. Think I'll need to purchase the full size and use it for a much longer period of time.
If you follow me on Snapchat (@ mcgummerson), you'll know that I did purchase more items than I showed here. However I returned them already and didn't have them to photograph. Here are the items:
Armani Lip Maestro in 508 - Felt way too silicone-y for a lip product.
Bite Beauty lipstick in Cava - Way too cool toned and gave me the much dreaded dead-barbie-lips.
The Blend 07 White Tea & 08 Exotic Rose fragrance oils by Fred Segal - The White Tea name is misleading, and it's much more spicy than it smells like tea, which is what I wanted. The Exotic Rose didn't seem al that unique.
Though I did buy quite a bit, I'm pretty proud of myself that I didn't buy much makeup, and of the other things purchased they were mostly items that are staples or that I've had my eye on.
How about you...what did you buy during the Sephora sale????
