Back at the end of August, Bronzer Bunny and I started Love It or Toss It (original post HERE), to help edit our stashes to hopefully consist of only things we love!! She's been very successful on her quest, and has done many Love It or Toss It posts. You can catch up with her HERE. I had my stash pretty well purged by the time we started the first post, and as a result have not done any subsequent posts. Until today!!! What what what happened?!! I wore lipstick for the first time in awhile, and decided my bullet of choice would be Burberry's Lip Mist in Rosey Red. I loved it when I first got it, but haven't reached for it since. Today was the day though!! 

I remembered why I love the Lip Mist formula so much - moisturizing, glides on with ease and has a nice color payoff for being a more balmy type lipstick. But but but as the day wore on and I saw Rosey Red it all it's glory and in a bunch of different lighting scenarios…eh…it wasn't love anymore and understood why I haven't been reaching for it. It's a bit frustrating because I seriously am kinda giddy about the formula, but that color red has the hint of something that makes it not quite right. I think it ends up being a little too warm with a slight hint orange once on my lips?? Something like that. All I know is it's not right. TOSS.

As I pondered my lippie stash, I also decided that the Lip Mist in Pink Heather isn't love anymore either. It's super duper close to the Field Rose Lip Mist, but I absolutely would rather wear Field Rose over Pink Heather. You know that old scenario…similar, but different enough to have a preference!!! So Pink Heather is a TOSS too!

Do they have ever have makeup funerals? Do beautiful lipsticks still go to makeup Nirvana??
