Neutral Eyes, With Rouge Bunny Rouge and Chanel...Plus an Announcement!

Here are a couple of neutral eyeshadow looks that I've been playing with since collecting all these great colors!! I posted one of them on Instagram, but wanted to share with anyone who missed it since this is the closest I've ever been to showing a Face of the Day :-)

I'm pretty new at all this eyeshadow business, but have really had fun playing!! My comfort zone right now is the brown neutral family. I know these are very simple looks to those with a trained eye and expert application techniques, but I'm really trying to work on placement and blending. I know I've got a lot of practicing to do, but have to start somewhere!!! Ha ha!! 'Tis a process...

Top left products used:

 1. NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

 2. Rouge Bunny Rouge Solstice Halcyon as base and blending color

 3. Laura Mercier Caviar Shadow Stick in Khaki

 4. Burberry Midnight Brown layered over the LM stick

Bottom right products used:

 1. Benefit Stay Don't Stray primer

 2. Chanel Raffinement quad

I don't have mascara on in these looks because I didn't have time! Of course that's always the problem...that and trying to find a mascara that doesn't smudge of my oily monolids!!

...And now for the announcement!! It's nothing crazy but it will affect some of you who like to read Gummy Vision :-)

At some point in the near future, I will be leaving Blogger for Squarespace, as well as changing my web address from gummyvision.blogspot.com to gummyvision.com!

Though I'm not sure of an exact date, I'm hoping it will be sooner rather than later...within the next month or so? Wish I could be more specific but I'm working/traveling more now so it depends on how quickly I can get things done! LOL!

But the reason why I wanted to let you know of the change is because once I make the switch, I'll lose Google Friend Connect. You could add the new URL to Google Reader, but that is going away in July so you could save yourself some trouble and make the change now by following via email, Bloglovin or RSS.

If you follow via email, Bloglovin or RSS then the transition will hopefully be seamless and you won't notice any difference in your post feeds! :-)   If you have any questions please let me know.
