BECCA Backlight Priming Filter
After not being entirely impressed with the Tom Ford Complexion Enhancing Primer, I was excited to see this BECCA Backlight Priming Filter pop up.

BECCA Backlight Priming Filter, $38/1oz @ Sephora and ULTA
This is everything I wanted the Tom Ford Complexion Enhancing Primer to be, and at a much better price!
It comes in hefty, glass pump bottle that's also really pretty. It hides/minimizes my pores very well, and my makeup stays put longer (a good 2-3 hours) without separating around my oily bits. When it finally does start to separate, it's a lot less noticeable than when I don't wear this primer. And everything is blurred a bit, even my redness.
The main thing I love about this primer is the effect it gives - really does live up to the 'Backlight' name! It adds just the right amount of luminosity without being over the top or too shimmery. And the color is perfect for my skintone - leans more beige which suits me better than the CoverFX Illuminating Primer that I had been using. The CoverFX is more cool toned and has bigger shimmer particles that look silver/white compared to the BECCA.
Sunlight swatch. Seriously, check out that beautiful glow just in the swatch!! I'm super happy with this, and have been wearing it almost everyday over the past couple of weeks. It's just the thing I've been looking for to give my foundation routine that extra oomph!
BECCA Backlight Priming Filter ingredients are below. This has a shorter ingredient list than the Tom Ford, which is nice. Wish there was no fragrance, but it is quite light and I don't notice it on my face.
