I've mentioned the Nordstrom Beauty Rewards program a few times on the blog, but finally was able to get some pictures to show you what the actual rewards look like!! According to the Nordstrom site, this is still a pilot program though I'm not sure if that's updated information since I have't been to a non-test pilot store for awhile.
What exactly is the Nordstrom Beauty Rewards program?? It's pretty much like any other beauty rewards program…I'd say it's most similar to the Sephora BI/VIB/Rouge program. $1 = 1 beauty point, and you can trade in those points for specified beauty rewards at the 100 and 500 point levels. Beauty Rewards points may only be accumulated in a location that is participating in the program, BUT you may also earn points when you order qualifying beauty items online.
In order to sign up, you must do so in a location that is participating in the program. When you make a purchase, make sure you tell the SA you are in the Beauty Rewards to make sure you get your points. Your points online will automatically accrue. However, when you sign up in store, you might want to call online customer service just to make sure your online account is 'linked' to the Beauty Rewards so that you get your points!! As of this writing you may only redeem your points for Beauty Rewards in a participating store, not online (hope they change that!!).
According to the Nordstrom site FAQ HERE, these are the participating locations (it looks like they've added a few locations since the last time I looked):
Cherry Creek Shopping Center, Christiana Mall, City Creek Center, Easton Town Center, Fashion Mall, Freehold Raceway Mall, International Plaza, Montclair Plaza, Oakbrook Center, Park Meadows, Roosevelt Field, Saint Louis Galleria, San Francisco Centre, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Spokane, The Mall at Green Hills, The Shops at Mission Viejo, Town Center at Boca Raton, Valley Fair, Waterside.
So onto the rewards!!! These were taken about a month ago…apologies, as I am way behind!! But at least it'll give you an idea of what kind of things to expect :-) A huge thank you to Bronzer Bunny who helped!! xo
Not a bad little set??
Hmmm…weird…I think we've seen the mini Chubby Stick before!!! Did Clinique just have a billion of these and sent them out to Nordstrom AND Sephora?!! LOL :-P As an overall comment, I'd love to see some higher end and luxury brand rewards to better reflect the overall product assortment that Nordstrom has to offer…even if that meant they added another point category!
Soooooo…I don't think this is radically different or so phenomenal that you have to run out right away and sign up. But if you are a regular Nordstrom beauty shopper it might be worth your while. At a minimum, at least you still earn points towards your Nordstrom Notes…can Sephora say that?!!
