Ugh. I accidentally deleted the original post because I was messing around trying to resize the swatch images. Thought I was deleting an image, when all of a sudden the post was gone!!! So annoying!!!
I don't remember exactly what I wrote, but the quick version is that I love both of these shadow sticks!!! I really can't tell a difference between the 2...both are smooth, creamy and wear like iron!!! Without primer they last around 4 hours before creasing, but keep in mind I have super oily, Asian monolids that crease just about anything. With primer these shadow sticks last ALL day. They are even a bit tough to remove at night, so I have to rub a bit harder than normal. That's how tough wearing these things are!!
They both give just the right amount of time to smudge/blend out before setting. If I want a stronger, defined line they take a tiny bit longer to set. For the big price difference, Laura Mercier offers more bang for your buck. But whichever you choose, I think you'll be very happy with either product!!! Now I'm wondering how the Bobbi Brown version stacks up...???

All the colors have the same packaging, so instead of showing all three in their individual cases, I'll go right into what the colors look like. I picked up Khaki firs, then Plum and last was Rose Gold. By the time I decided to take a pic showing all three colors I had already used Khaki and Plum. Sorry for the non-pristine pics, but I couldn't wait this time! LOL!!
For some reason the Plum scrapes against the side when it's twisted up. This doesn't happen with the other colors, so I guess it's a fluke!

Oh, I remember one last thing I forgot to mention from the deleted post!! I love how portable these are. They take up hardly any room in my makeup bag, so I don't feel bad carrying all the colors around in my travel case!!
