I received this full-sized gloss in the Barneys Love Yourself Event gift bag! The only other Kevyn Aucoin product I've ever tried is the Celestial Powder in Candlelight, which I love...so I was really excited to see this product in the bag.
I have to warm this up a bit in the pot first before application, but once warmed up it glides on nicely. It's about light to medium in terms of thickness, but doesn't feel heavy at all. It actually feels comfortably lightweight for a gloss, and is only very faintly sticky. It's moisturizing and lasts a good 2-3 hours before wearing off.
I like the little compact this comes in! It has a good sized mirror, and the packaging looks...well...elegant!! It's not flashy or girly, but rather understated and sleek :-) I would definitely purchase more colors, and even a backup of this one because I enjoy it that much!! The color is sheer, but gives a very subtle and very pretty peachy/apricot hue to my lips.

I do apologize, as it looks like Bobbi Brown's Metallic Lip Colors have been discontinued. I did a Google search for retailers and could not find any. However, I still wanted to show this because I found it at a CCO (in February I think?) and you might still be able to pick one up there!
I owned a Metallic Lip Color a long time ago. It wasn't my favorite lipstick formula, but was really drawn to this color!! I thought it would be great for Spring, and anytime I just wanted to brighten things up!
Why don't I care for the formula? Mainly because it feels slightly gritty on the lips. It's not terrible nor a deal breaker, but it is slightly annoying when I think about it! LOL! Everything else is about middle of the road on this lipstick...medium wear time, medium intensity, medium moisture. This particular shade I don't find to be metallic. Instead I find it has shimmer that gives it a really nice dimension on the lips.
