Swatched: YSL Glossy Stain 7 Corail Aquatique and 19 Beige Aquarelle

I've already reviewed and swatched YSL Glossy Stain 4 Mauve Pigmente, here. My review stays the same. These puppies are incredibly moisturizing and the moisture (and gloss!) lasts hours and hours - at least until I eat a meal and need to reapply. This absolutely stains your lips, so much so that you need to reapply very little for it to look perfect again.

My only tiny complaint before was the applicator. If I took it straight from the tube and applied, it would look streaky and I'd end up having to pat it to smooth it out over my lips. I finally had a "duh!" moment and realized I needed to swipe some of the gloss off the edge of the tube before first applying it to my lips. Ha ha! Problem solved!! Oh, and I still love that scent :-)

Since then I've purchased a couple of additional colors, 7 Corail Aquatique and 19 Beige Aquarelle. I purchased 19 because I wanted something natural looking, but that I wouldn't have to reapply as often. I purchased 7 after KokoLaroo on YouTube kept raving about it on her videos.

Here they are:

7 Corail Aquatique

I am so happy to have found this!!! I've been searching for the perfect coral color since the beginning of the spring. They would either be too red, too peach, way too bright, or way too orange. This is absolutely what I've been looking for :-) It's like when you find the perfect red...you just know!!!

19 Beige Aquarelle

I really like this - up to a point. I really like that it mutes the natural color of my lips and ends up looking slightly more pink than when I just use a clear gloss or Aquaphor. However, I find through the course of the day if I reapply more than once it stains my lips too much and ends up looking quite fake...almost a plastic-y pink/neutral tone rather than merely enhancing what I already have. I also find if I reapply more than once a day it ends up collecting around the inner rims of my lips...ew...not a pretty sight. Weird (but good) thing is it only happens with this color 19 and not the other two colors. As a result, I end up wearing this in the morning or out for a quick errand, and then switch to something else later.

This one seems to have picked up a bit more of the flecks of sparkle. Outside light. L-R: 7 Corail Aquatique straight from the applicator / then blended out a bit, 19 Beige Aquarelle straight from the applicator / then blended out a bit.
