I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

Review: Korres Yogurt Velvety Moisturizing Cream and Yogurt Mask

Who it's for: oily and/or combo skin that's dehydrated.

Where you can purchase: SephoraULTAwww.korresusa.comwww.beauty.com

I have an oily T-zone and am normal to super dry everywhere else. I went through 2 containers of each product and really liked both. Ultimately I stopped using the Yogurt line only because for my super dry areas it wasn't quite moisturizing enough. However, I'm contemplating trying them again using the layering technique with the ARCONA Magic White Ice like I am now.

Here's the great trick...the Yogurt Mask can be used as a mask and a moisturizer if the Yogurt Cream isn't quite doing the job!! Lately I haven't seen the Mask sold separately, only in the Yogurt Regimen Kit. But the kit is a pretty amazing deal...for $45 you get full-sized containers of the Yogurt Cream and Mask, and luxury sample sizes of the White Tea Cleanser and Evening Primrose Eye Cream...the Yogurt Cream alone is $32.

Both are made from full-fat, Greek Yogurt, which from the Korres site, "is a natural source of lactose, proteins, minerals and vitamins...increases moisture levels in the upper levels of the skin without inciting any additional oil production".

With both products, a little goes a long way. Start with minimal product and if you feel you need more, then add a little after letting one or the other sink in for a bit. The Cream is a little runny, and the Mask is thicker (isn't runny at all).

I was very happy I could use both around my eye area with no irritation!! Each left my skin so soft and made my skin feel balanced. My T-zone was slightly less oily and all but my super dry areas were left well moisturized. The products were soothing, especially on areas that were a little flakey from spot treatments - actually seemed to make the flakes disappear quicker. And I don't know how else to say this, but the products just made my skin say aaaaaahhhh...felt really, really soothing :-)

The containers each lasted almost 3 months - the Cream I used both day/night and the Mask I used about 3x's per week.
