***Formally the Gummy Vision blog***

I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

NUDE Skincare Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly, $38/3.4oz @ Sephora

I wanted to try this for awhile and finally was able to score a sample with a Sephora order. Best way I can describe this: a thick, cleansing balm jelly. I know...the word jelly threw me off but I finally understood once I squeezed it out of the sample packet. I was instantly hooked and waited forever for it to come back in stock. Finally resorted to tracking it down in a store because it was taking too long ha ha!

This doesn't fully melt until I spread it onto my face...but once there it feels so luxurious, and my skin feels cushioned even as I massage the jelly around. It emulsifies with warm water, but is more quickly removed with warm water + a baby washcloth or muslin cloth. I don't think I can adequately describe how amazing this feels on my skin...I do a little 'aaaaaahhh' every time I apply it, and always look forward to using it.  Plus, it's 'free of PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene glycol, petrochemicals, synthetic color, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, and silicones'.

That said, as far as a makeup remover it's not the best. It definitely gets rid of all my foundation and heartier sunscreen, but it's not so great with heavy duty eye makeup (minimal to regular is no problem) - I've had to either follow up with KGD or Tom Ford or use them beforehand. For that reason it may not be for everyone, but I wear minimal eye makeup most days so I don't have a problem with it.

I've used up a deluxe sample pot of the Eve Lom Cleanser and thought that was pretty darn fantastic. Then I started using the NUDE Omega Cleansing Jelly, and the feel of the NUDE is so much more special and I definitely prefer it over the Eve Lom. Except the Eve Lom does get rid of even heavy duty eye makeup, so there is that. Bottom line: I love this stuff and plan on repurchasing!
