***Formally the Gummy Vision blog***

I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

Agent Nateur N° 3 Deodorant

Agent Nateur N° 3 Deodorant

Normally I would mention deodorants only in Empties posts, but this one I wanted to talk about because it's been getting a lot of visibility on blogs, videos and magazines.

Agent Nateur N°3 Deodorant, 1.1oz/$11 & 1.7oz/$19 on agentnateur.com. I bought mine on amazon, but currently it's OOS.

The Agent Nateur N°3 Deodorant is marketed to be THE organic, luxury option. It uses food grade ingredients that sound more like a skincare product rather than a deodorant - ingredients like honey, avocado butter and coconut oil.

I also read somewhere (can't remember where exactly) that this is also very moisturizing. Which, ok...why the heck do you need to moisturize there?? It's still skin, and if you are sensitive to baking soda that's commonly used in aluminum free deodorants...my thinking was that having a more moisturizing formula might help counteract some of the irritation?? IDK. There's absolutely zero science there and no googling to back that up - just a thought I had ha ha!

The Agent Nateur N°3 Deodorant is indeed moisturizing, which feels really nice and in my head makes me feel like I'm doing something good for my underarms. The baking soda in this formulation also doesn't irritate my skin - YAY!!! But I'm not sure if that's due to the moisturizing ingredients, the whole of the formula itself or because of the amount of baking soda used. Anyway, no mind...it doesn't make my skin itchy or red so that makes me really happy!!

The moisturizing formula of this deodorant also makes it easy to apply, though I wouldn't leave it anyplace too warm or it might melt? Though easy to apply, the moisturizing aspect does create 2 little 'problems' for me:

1. I have to use as little as possible because it takes awhile to set (dry down). And by awhile I mean sometimes over 10 minutes depending on how much I've used.

2. Instead of feeling a little wet, my underarms feel damp when I'm working out. I think the moisturizing formula keeps the wetness in, instead of letting it go through the deodorant and letting it either evaporate or absorbing some of it. So my pits end up feeling damp. Probably doesn't sound like a huge deal, but it's annoying and I end up putting my hands on my hips or in the air to try to dry out though it never really does.

On the plus side, as far as odor control, I feel like this works really well. I haven't had any smelly issues, but keep in mind I haven't used this during the high Summer heat - only during lighter workouts, work and doing daily tasks.

I'm on the fence about this one and I'm not sure I'll repurchase. I'll definitely finish the one I have, but the 2 issues above bug me enough to where I think they may override what I like about it (packaging, ingredients, feels good, odor control).

Have you tried the Agent Nateur N°3 Deodorant? What do you think??
